Our Spring Concert will take place on Thursday, April 28 in the Gym, with Grades K-2 performing from 5:30-6:30 PM and Grades 3-5 performing from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Please remember the attire is the same as the fall concert. If you have questions or need clarification on attire please let me know (white collar shirts, black pants or skirts, black shoes).
In
order to prepare you for full enjoyment of this
musical event, we would ask that all Archway families take a moment to
read through the following list of appropriate etiquette practices and
procedures for our concert:
*Please remain seated for the entire concert
*Please make sure that all cell phones are on silent
*Please do not set up personal video cameras to record the concert
*Please keep younger siblings with a parent at all times
*Archway students will not be dismissed until after the concert
*Please do not bring any food or drink into the gym except water
Yearbooks:
Monday, April 25th is the last day to purchase a yearbook.
They are $25.00
Grades:
Quarter 4 Progress Notices (for students with a low C average or below) will go home on Monday, April 25th
Please sign and return by Friday, April 29th
May 27th is the last day of school. Report cards will be sent out on Friday, June 3rd at 1:00 pm
Our Class this Week:
Thank you for all of the wonderful supplies to help visually teach Simple Machines! I am looking forward to some incline plane races later this week! Your child brought home a Simple Machines Project. The goal of the project is to create an invention using a combination of at least 2 simple machines. (incline plane, lever, wheel and axle, wedge, screw, pulley). You may use materials from home, but please do not buy a project to assemble from a Hobby Store. Let your child dream, brainstorm, and think of a problem (work) that they would like to make easier. It will be amazing to see what they come up with! Due date: MAY 19th
