We have a full schedule this week along with a lot of exciting
"extras"! This Thursday is our Olympic Field Day! Please dress your
child in blue on Thursday to represent Team Athens! (Please no hair dye
or face paint :) Coach Cook and Coach H are looking for 10 more
volunteers to help cover stations on Thursday. Please let him know if
you are interested.
Friday is a half day! All students will be
dismissed at 12:30pm. We will be celebrating Great Hearts Day on
Friday. Please no Valentine's or goodie bags, we are focusing on the
virtues that make us GreatHEARTed students.
This week we will be learning:
Reading: Little House in the Big Woods- context clues, character analysis
Grammar: reviewing subject-verb agreement and plural verbs
Writing: Letters, 5 sentence paragraphs
History: Bill of Rights
Science: Small and Large Intestines
Math: Multiplication and Division of 4's (and 5's on Friday)
