Learning in 2017!

I was SO impressed with our Simple Machine projects!  Your student has done an amazing job over the break.  Thank you for all your hard work in helping him/her have a successful Winter Project.  We are waiting for a few classes to finish presentations, and then we will be inviting parents to do a walk through of the wonderful creations later in the week.

A few highlights for the week:

Wednesday: Our first trip to the Lincoln library! I am so excited it is up and running!

Thursday:  MAP testing- Math

We are currently reading Sarah, Plain and Tall.  This is a very short book.  We will be done next week.  If you have not purchased the book a quick trip to the library would give you plenty of time to have it read and still returned on time.

Science:  The Digestive System, with the focus this week on a healthy eating lifestyle.

History:  The Revolutionary War

TUTORING CHANGES:
Tuesday will be reserved for ELA/GRAMMAR tutoring only.  Tutoring will be held until 4:30 pm.  Please reply in a separate email if you wish for your child to attend.

Thursday:  Math tutoring (for my Math class only- please seek tutoring opportunities if you feel they are needed by your child's Math teacher if I do not have your child for math class.)  Tutoring will be held until 4:30 pm.

Pictures on the blog will be uploaded by Friday!
