4 Day Week:

I hope you enjoyed the beautiful day today!  It was a great ending to our rainy weekend. 

We have two Assessments this week:

Tomorrow:  (I will be out with the other leads for an AZEd sponsored reading initiative).

We will have our Grammar Assessment tomorrow- the review that went home on Friday is VERY similar to the test format.

Wednesday:  All classes- Math test.  This will be over multiplication and division using 4's, 5's and 10's.  There will be facts, word problems, and word problems with remainders. 



Learning this week:

Literature:  Little House in the Big Woods with a look at Cause/Effect, Identifying Character traits and Sequence of Events

Grammar:  Unit Test; Similes and Metaphors

Math:  Multiplication/Division of 4's, 5's, and 10's. 
          Money

Science:  Overview of Body Systems:  Muscular, Skeletal, Circulatory, Respiratory

History:  War of 1812


Upcoming Events: 

Mother/Son Night:  March 4th, 4:30-7:30 pm

Box Tops:  Due THIS FRIDAY, February 24th!
