Almost March!

Monday:  We have a MICROSCOPE page due TOMORROW.
               I was going to wait to send home the comprehension for the week tomorrow, but I am sending it early- you know your schedule best, so I wanted to give plenty of time.  It is over the WAR of 1812, and it is due FRIDAY. 
              

Tuesday:  I will be out for Day 3 of our AZ Reading Training.  Ms. Castillo is out today, but she will be back tomorrow to lead the class.


Wednesday:  Standard homework:  a great day to practice our new poem:  Buffalo Dusk (Due 3/13)


Thursday:  Standard homework plus History Review


Friday:  War of 1812 Comprehension Due
            Spalding Test
            War of 1812 Test
            Coffee Talk- Little House in the Big Woods (we are making butter!)


this week:                        Writing- Persuasive paragraphs
                                      Grammar- Pronouns; Similes and Metaphors
                                      Math- Money: counting, adding/subtracting, making change
                                      Science- cells, microscopes
                                      History- War of 1812
                                      Literature- Anton Van Leeuwenhoek
