We
enjoyed an action packed two days! Today we celebrated the culmination
of the Read-a-thon with an assembly, poems were recited, Greek gods
were introduced, simple machines were made from pasta, contraction
surgery was performed, and we came SO CLOSE to
finishing Cricket in Times Square! I hope you have a wonderful,
restful, and reflective break! Upon our return we will be focusing on
the following:
Literature: Greek Myths
History: Greek city-state: Athens
Science: Simple Machines: wedges and screws
Grammar: common/proper nouns, singular and plural nouns (review), contractions review, subject/verb agreement
Math: 2's and 3's facts
