Conferences for all students will be held on January 3, 2017 and January 4, 2017.  Students will return to school on Thursday, January 5, 2017!



We have two spelling bee winners who will be advancing to the next round and competing on Monday, December 12th at 4pm.  We would love to have classroom support as we cheer on Miley and Brendan!

Our Greek Fest day will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 8:00-11:30 am.  More information and sign-up opportunities are coming your way.  The day promises to be fun and memorable!

Simple Machine Project:  Part 3 of the Simple Machine project went home today.  This portion relates specifically to your child's creation.  Please make sure your student writes the answers in complete sentences!  Part 3 is due on Monday, December 12th.  We will edit these papers and return them so your child can rewrite his/her answers into a paragraph format to be turned in with the project on January 5th.

Comprehension this week:  This week all students are bringing home a "read aloud" or "partner/family read"  for the week.  We read and discussed the packet in class today and as a result we have several students who are interested in becoming archeologists!  We will have an in class comprehension piece on Thursday, so please make sure you take some time this week to read the selection with your child. (No additional home assignment other than the enjoyment of reading with your child!)
